Sadly i don’t see Mitt as Evil or a Genius. Just an opportunistic pitch man with a Name. He’s the guy they bring in to lose expensively. Rove knew 20 years ago GOP was on losing demographic track, getting older and whiter in an America getting younger and browner. GWB tried to be less racist, but apparently the donor base isn’t going for that. If it isn’t racist and sexist and all the rest, they’ll just take their money to Vegas and drown their sorrows. Plus BO is the strongest Dem candidate since JFK, maybe FDR. So, Rove and Romney et al said, well, we know we’re gonna lose, so let’s not use anybody with an actual office, or an actual future. Let’s just say the words, take the money, skim the cream, lose the election, and retire rich to the lecture circuit. And they Did. Why is this so hard for people to see?
